This is where I exist:
An endless loop
Returning to itself,
Going forward,
Going back,
Swallowing my tail,
Eternal heaven and hell,
Never any slack,
Pushing toward
an abyssal shelf,
no chance to recoup,
simply subsist.

Not exactly my usual association with the Ouroboros imagery, but quite striking.

It isn’t. But it’s still about balance and cycles. With the good we also must accept the bad. Tragedy and Joy may be opposites but they also walk hand in hand. Depression and normality, for me, run in cycles, too.
