It arrived blank.
Untainted by personalisation;
The way I had hoped
It might be, were it not for
The postal services.
It arrived full.
Packed cover to cover
With life, beyond my imagining;
Expanding the bounds of my worlds
With every verse.
It arrived overflowing.
Cover glaring, begging
To be read; words shouting
From within its pages
To be appreciated.
It arrived abounding.
Written to jangle the senses,
Fill them with new sentiment;
Stories spilled from every pore
Poetry to leave you wanting
More.
I’m so glad it finally got to you, in some form. I’m so thankful you supported it, that you wanted to read it, that you read it, that you wrote this. .. that you are you.
Hugs, and love.

I’ve really enjoyed it. I think there will be more poetry. It was astonishing.

Excellent description of the book, Lizzi!! It makes me want to write something beautiful about it because Sack Nasty is SO deserving of all the wonderful reviews, like this one! Well done 🙂
