I’m not sure if it’s wisdom or foolishness to give the care of the depressed to the depressed…
either way it fits the cues…
wooohoo!
*
The whole thing is rather ironic
a soul such as mine so dystonic
would be entrusted with the care
of those who live there
it makes depression all that more sardonic

(addendum 11/11 pm)
I suppose if the shoe fits, you wear it
despite your mood being disparet
from that which you preach
to those in the breach
thus saving us all from the garotte

I might add to this poem as I go… who knows? ~z
feel free to add to it in the comments and we will put it all together
Maybe you could take an appropriate tonic?

Curiously I think that caring for the depressed when depressed yourself probably helps both parties. The carer is better able to appreciate and understand what the problem is and can be sympathetic.

I think youre right. Sometimes it takes having been there to understand something.

What a delightful little very you have going here! And while I acknowledge the apparent foolishness of such a plan, it is my believe that one cannot know the depth of despair if they have never themselves been there. I suspect your clients are far better off for you being there, even you may be a bit off yourself! 🙂 XOXO

I think that nobody knows better how to deal with a situation than those who are dealing with it themselves!

This poem proves depression can be fun. Surprised your patients don’t get up and run. But maybe, just maybe you see, Inside their minds, what is to be. Sorry – foolish attempt. In your wisdom you know I love you.
